The WG-80 features waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof and crushproof construction that makes it easy to capture super-high-resolution photos and video of outdoor adventures, whether on land or under the sea. It’s rugged construction also makes the WG-80 worksite-ready for capturing images in harsh conditions at construction sites and in civil engineering work.
It’s equipped with a 16 effective megapixel back-illuminated CMOS image sensor, high-performance imaging engine, 5X optical zoom lens providing coverage equivalent to approximately 28mm to 140mm in the 35mm format and a large, outdoor-friendly wide-frame LCD monitor. Its enhanced underwater modes for still photography and video deliver sharp, true-to-life imagery by optimizing colour and contrast that are usually lost in underwater photography.
The WG-80 features its own built-in ring light with adjustable illumination levels. It’s comprised of six LED macro lights positioned around the circumference of the lens barrel, making the camera ideal for macro photography.
